Exactly 10 years ago, in 2016, Amit Jnagal struck upon an idea. To build something to automate document processing like never before.
There were plenty of document automation solutions at the time: OCR, traditional IDP, and some really big names in the space. But Amit noticed one thing they all had in common.
Every single one of them was missing a core component: giving people who worked with documents true freedom from manual data entry. For instance, you hand over a document to be processed. But every time data is extracted, a human reviewer still has to manually verify whether it's correct or not.
Then what's the point of automation in the first place?
That's when Amit realised that despite the growing number of OCR-based document automation tools, none of them were offering true automation, and none of them were leveraging intelligent automation to get there.
So for the next 10 years, Infrrd's mission, alongside Amit's, was to dismantle the traditional document processing tech stack and build something stronger, more reliable, and more efficient for organisations dealing with massive volumes of documents.
And after 10 years, we've rebuilt the way document automation works with AI at the core — bagging 30+ industry recognitions, 12+ patents, and an impressive clientele with 100% retention along the way.
On this journey, Infrrd launched Advanced IDP, Computer Vision for image processing, No-Touch Processing, and finally, Agentic AI with Ally.
For 10 years, Infrrd was on the ground doing the groundwork.
And now, we're ready to take off.

Why Is Infrrd's Mascot a Squirrel?
Infrrd's marketing team went looking for the perfect species to represent what Infrrd is all about: quick, intelligent, and brilliantly efficient.
That's when Dilleshwar, Infrrd's Senior Visual Designer, came up with the concept of a squirrel.
Squirrels are known for their speed, intelligence, and precision. The way they navigate any terrain effortlessly, and the way they bury their nuts in the ground to keep them safe - quietly, efficiently, with zero fuss- is nothing short of remarkable.
That's the energy Infrrd brings to document automation.
But we also thought: if Infrrd were a squirrel, it wouldn’t just be any squirrel. It would be a truly incredible one and kind of an overachiever. So we gave Mattie superpowers — 10x the speed, 10x the intelligence.
And no, Mattie didn't come by those superpowers out of nowhere.
